CUPPING NOTES:
A full bodied cup roasted dark to provide the bold and smoky flavor that French Roast is known for.
French Roast is not so much about the origin of the coffee, but is rather a method of roasting that brings out the bold and smoky flavors that are associated with French Roast. We use an organic coffee with a low acidity and nutty base so that the final flavor provide gives you that bold full-roasted flavor without being bitter. During the roast process, the air flow is controlled in such a manner that allows some of the smoky flavor from the roasting process to penetrate the bean to provide the final flavor profile that is known as French Roast.
